Popular Post Bijan Posted April 3, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 3, 2021 3rd cigar from this 50-cab. First one was so-so (mostly wood), second one was pretty good (I rated it 4/5 at the time, but I smoked it after a run of a half dozen dud cigars, so it was probably closer to 3/5 objectively). Cigar is a little light. Bunching looks good. Went with a 9mm punch and didn't have to use the perfecdraw. First third: Opens with sweet vanilla, which soon faddes, then baking spices and cloves. Some cedar a bit later on. Second third: Back to vanilla, some toastiness/smokiness. Final third: Cream for the beginning of this third, then spice with some cinnamon. No relights or touch ups, pretty good though burn wasn't razor sharp. 52 minutes not quite to the nub. 4/5, even better than the previous one I had, feeling better about this box. 25
Enduin Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Nice review! How long did you let them rest in the humi? 1

Enduin Posted April 10, 2021 Posted April 10, 2021 It's nice to see the vanilla and cream notes being prominent with such young cigars! It was my understanding that these notes used to require a fair bit of age to shine. 2
Tstew75 Posted April 10, 2021 Posted April 10, 2021 Epi 1/2s are on an incredible tear in 19/20... Stack both years deep, especially La Corona examples 1
