El Presidente Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 Good luck to them SMOKING DOUBLE: BARBEQUE AND CIGARS JUST GO TOGETHER By Staff Posted February 27, 2021 For centuries man has smoked cigars and for centuries he has also smoked meat. When did the two first get paired together? No one is certain. Two things are for sure: a whole lot of cigar smokers enjoy good barbeque and a whole lot of backyard barbeque fans enjoy a good cigar, even if they only smoke cigars occasionally. MEET BARBEQUE & SMOKE Cigar Life Guy had a chance to meet up with a D.C. area Brother of the Leaf, Mac Bostic. Mac and his partner Donnis Roberts are the founders of Barbeque & Smoke, a venture that combines barbeque related items and cigars in a curated box that can be delivered to your home on a regular basis. Here is a bit of the conversation: CONTINUED 2
Chas.Alpha Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 Love it! Back at my preferred shop in Tampa, we would have a monthly cigar dinner, where chef Floyd would prepare an appropriate 7 course meal. If Floyd was roasting his famous brisket that month, get your seat assignment early!!! 3
Habana Mike Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Great idea. I've for some time thought about opening a Blues, brews and barbecue joint in a small beach town. Of course cigars would be in the mix, they just don't rhyme Makes perfect since for me as an award winning brewmaster, pit master and blues guitarist. Not a bad name for the place either to me. Maybe add some pool tables and Cues to the name. Kind of loses the ring though.
Shrimpchips Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 I’d have called it Puro Churrasco - although I suspect a lot of the target market wouldn’t get it. 1

Totally off topic, but do you or someone you trust have any insights into the realm of electronic drums? I am looking to practice without annoying the neighbors. My gigging days are well in the rear view, but that said I definitely wouldn’t be happy with the “Little Johnny’s 1st drum kit!” ? Budget: Maybe a grand... ?
Walter19 Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 I like it! As long as the heavy smoky BBQ flavors from the seasoning don't merge with the cigars. Looks like a great gift though.
