Popular Post Kaptain Karl
1/3: pastry and heavy spice on the opening. Coffee, spice and cake/pastry. 2/3: imo, it’s pretty boring. Some coffee, toasted tobacco but low flavor intensity. I’ve had some unreal cigars in the past few weeks, but this just isn’t it. It’s really nothing like the box of Coronas Claros. 3/3: The wrapper exploded so I chucked it. Just not worth it unfortunately. Based off some of the reviews I’ve seen lately I’m not surprised this wasn’t firing off. I’d wait 6 months for those of you who havnt smoked one yet! 1/3 was a 3/5, the last third was a 1/5. This gets a low 2/5 or a 70. 8 3

MrBirdman
I’ve found this experience to be a hazard of large RG vitolas generally - The last Esmeralda I had didn’t blow up, but it was consistently bland and indistinct. Same problem with San Juan’s on occasion too. Thinner ring gauges may come with their own set of problems but a lack of intensity isn’t one of them!
Yellot00tr
Do they need much more time? I wasn’t super impressed with the qdo coronas at first when they had 0 age on them, but they age so well. They weren’t bad young, but with age, it’s night and day.
