Rob said that even though we didn’t get this years 12DC sampler this year, we could still join in with some appropriate sticks, so...

I ended up being a FOH after my last trip to Havana. I brought my mule (wife) with me to take advantage of the relaxed importation regulations. I was “Big Game” hunting...

Cuba being Cuba, I didn’t find most anything that I was looking for, save 2 boxes of Fundadores and a couple of boxes of Punch DC’s. No Sir Winnie’s to be found. I never was a Cohiba fan. Too much $, not enough joy...

FAST FORWARD: I’m sitting at my favorite pub, looking up the Sir David Punch on Google, and I run across FOH. I am someone (old) who believes half of what he hears and NOTHING that he sees!!! I stumble my way into their “24/24” auction/sale just in time for the 2019 Christmas sampler! I’m not a fool. I’m not an idiot, but for $250 bucks, if this is for real?

REALLY FAST FORWARD: I told the mule (wife) “If you can’t get a job, yer outta here!!! Somebody’s gotta keep up with these credit card payments!!!” ?

2019 CORO: Smooth. Cinnamon and light pumpkin pie. Delightful. Even burn, smooth and pleasant. This is a cigar that builds it’s character. It becomes enchanting. It entices me to continue on with it’s journey. Cinnamon and cream, nutmeg and pumpkin/citrus notes cascade together with a rich, robust tobacco flavor. This is a King’s cigar...

PRESENT DAY: My wife found a job, and I bought a PSP box of these from Rob... ?

man, last year's sampler was amazing. 

I still have most of the best sticks resting...the SW, Espi, all four regionals, and the fundy. 

but the CoRo, the RyJ Churchill, the Boli, and the two QDO's were all fantastic.

Nice review! Regret not picking up a box of the CoRos in Cuba last year, especially seeing how much they've gone up in price outside of Cuba since then.
