Popular Post HDGSN
Nudies N1 (49SRW) First N1 for me. I opted for a bundle of N3 and won this in a FOH Prize Sampler. After about 60 days at rest, I thought “might as well.” Enjoyed with a box red and the greatest American novelist with (other than possibly Suttree) THE great American novel. Wow. Very impressed. I realize the first Nudies series was meant to mimic discontinued Partagas lines I have not (and probably will never) try, but I kept picking up Upmann stonefruits and Trinidad doughnut throughout. The Partagas sourdough was prominent, but I was missing that barnyard, savory Partagas kick. 1st half - Sourdough with stone and red fruits. Nutty. Bread and red jam. So enjoyable. Mild with smooth smoke and no retrohale harshness. 2nd half - The sourdough turned to sweet bread. Like doughnut. There was still jam. The nuttiness was replaced with roastiness. Strength picked up to medium but the smoke was still smooth without harshness. One of the cigars of the year. Impeccable construction. Much better than my N3s. 95/100

RDB
That’s a pretty good set up right there. I’m hoping it’s a glass of Port on the table. Savage book. Leaves a long, deep impression.
