Opens with spices, sweet cedar and shortbread. Sweet custard/cream follows up. Perfect draw and good construction. 

I’m at the end of this box and this is smoking way better than most of this box has. It’s following the theme of half of my 2018 boxes that needed 2 years of them to blossom. (Either that or my palette has finally returned since my chronic digestive issues have healed! My palate was decimated earlier this year when my gut was jacked up) Bummer I only have 3 left! 

A lemony custard flavor takes the front stage that’s intertwined with the cedar. 

I’ve gotten that lemony custard flavor a few times with Connie 1’s...it’s a fantastic flavor combo that I wish I could find routinely with the connie line! 

 

Into the 2/3, shortbread replaces the lemon custard. Cedar, spice and burnt sugar show their faces. 

 

The final third follows the same theme as the second. 

 

Per the scale below, it’s a 89-90 point cigar. Excellent to outstanding. Great, easily identifiable flavors, strong smoke output and good construction. The lemon custard flavor was phenomenal! If that led the way through the entire cigar it would have scored higher!
