Punch Royal Selection No.12 OCT 03 

Great size 5 1/8 x 42

The wrapper is not the prettiest with What I'd say is a Colorado shade wrapper. Velvety smooth though.

prelight aroma and cold draw is Fruity and Floral

draw is perfect

burn starts off wavy, but corrects itself half way thru.

1st third starts off nutty in flavor and aroma, with leather and sweet aged tobacco in the background. The There is a big blast of pepper thru the nose (surprising given the age of the cigar) The finish is long and sweet. Smoke is chewy. the aroma has a nutty note, that makes me think of peanut butter, and then gets more floral. great start to this one

2nd third The pepper picks up a bit on the palate with a touch of vanilla and broiche. The cigar picks up a creamy character around the half way point.

3rd the the dark fruity note from the prelight finally joins the party, and intermingles with the cream and nutty notes. The aroma becomes more perfumy, with the nutty flavor taking back over in the end

The flavors throughout are vibrant and play well together. Superb balance. There are no rough edges on the cigar what so ever.

overall I would give this a 96 maybe even 97. Best cigar I've had in quite a while, great petit corona. Pity they have been discontinued.
