Popular Post Nico
Prelight. Typed wrong. It’s from 2013. Very well made. Feels packed. The wrapper is milk chocolate brown. Tight draw, almost to tight. 1st halfBlack coffee, earth, toasted tobacco, leather, dark chocolate, cedar. Mild to medium in body and flavor. 2nd halfSame as before but the dark chocolate has turned into milk chocolate instead. Body has turned up to a medium plus. Final thoughts. A very enjoyable cigar. Complex and nice flavors. Perfect cigar to have with your morning latte. I give it 90 points.
prshah25
I always thought aged Perlas would be an awesome smoke.
Nico
I always thought aged Perlas would be an awesome smoke. Don’t get me wrong, the age plays nice with this cigar but I would prefer to age other sticks. RG isn’t a marca that shines when it hits 7 years imo. I would prefer to age HdM, RyJ or partagas.
Cairo
I have some 2013 Perlas that fit the OP's description--the box has been very consistent and very good.
dshot
Great review, one of my daily favorites. Perfect dog walking cigar. I've tried others but they can't hold a candle in the wind to the Perlas. I like to buy them in 5x5's as I find they are typically blessed with more age. Sub $5 cigar you can not go wrong with them!
