H. Upmann Royal Robusto UPE NOV 12 (HURWR)

I bought this box on the secondary market a couple of years ago because it was a '12. The cigars have a slight rosado hue and It's been gratifying to see the UPE NOV 12 box code and date often mentioned as a good one. The H Unman review week contest seemed like a good time to smoke one.

Cold draw had nice resistance. The first third was typical Unman to me. Lovely tobacco with little complexity but delicious smoke nonetheless. Aside from the old cliche of toasted tobacco I didn't taste much else but that doesn't mean the cigar was bad. On the contrary, it was a very good cigar. Total time was an hour and fifteen minutes. I give the cigar a very good rating and look forward to the next one.
