Popular Post Sir Diggamus Posted August 22, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 22, 2020 This is the largest cigar I have ever smoked. I have never tried anything from the Nub brand and tend to lean toward 46 ring gauge and below as a preference, with a few pyramid smokes I have gone after lately. The aroma of the cigar was a rich sweet tobacco at cold. After clipping and lighting the cigar, the first puffs revealed a mild creamy-spice flavor. There were notes of meat on the retrohale. The draw was perfect a little resistance and it produced a good amount of smoke The flavors throughout the first third were a nice spiced cream that reminded me of a rich HdM with a little more spice in the mix. There was no harshness at all With the exception of a little ash I knocked off trying to get a pic in the ashtray it held on tight and the burn was fairly even. In the 2/3 of the cigar the spice intensifies a bit and morphs from a baking type spice to being one more recognizable in a Trinidad. I purged sometime about halfway in and lost the ash. The cream and spice mellowed and a roasted almond note emerged with a little pepper. The cigar was never over a medium and tasted great. I hung out close the the ashtray and the aroma the cigar put off was amazing. I could see myself smoking this in a lounge and people asking what it was just from the smell. A little dried fruit on the retrohale, raisin or cranberry, not sweet at all. About halfway into the last third of the cigar a rich raisin note emerges reminding me of a RASS without the full body that normally accompanies it. A very nice change. In the last two inches of the cigar the raisin note is still there and a nice tingle on the tongue. Dashes of coffee in the background and very noticeable on the retrohale. A little harshness creeps in but nothing too off putting. I am down to the last inch or so and still enjoying it very much This cigar had very nice transitions and was never over medium the whole time. There still seemed to be a lot of complexity still hidden in the cigar, so I will LOVE to see how these develop in a year or so. A 90 rating now with lots of potential. A fantastic cigar Thank you @El Presidente for putting this together! I can’t wait to see how the others are working out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 10 2

Connoisseur Kim Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 More custom rolls from FOH @Sir Diggamus? Too bad that they're only available in USA unlike Nudies. 1
Goodfortune Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 Great review! I am looking forward to trying my FOH customs even more now! 1
