RDB Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 Morning smoke this, with fennel tea and a few biscuits in the sunny garden. Definitely a claro wrapper. Nice appearance, smooth and even. Good draw, maybe a touch easy. This sparked up well and never saw the lighter again: perfect burn. Good opening. Rich tea biscuits. A malty sweetness. Flavoursome and initially very light. It puts on a bit of body but never gets close to medium. Better smoked gently in any case. Then you get a good range of bakery scents, some hints of tea, and an underpinning milky richness. It’s totally a tea break cigar! Very civilised. Good rather than excellent, but a refined and pleasurable smoke. I reckon they will age too, gently fading into more complexity. Score: 1. 3
