I recently picked up a box of 2015 Partagas Mille Fleurs, The cigars themselves look fantastic, and are absolutely identical to my partial box of 2016s.

But there are some differences between the seals, labels, and color schemes

here's some shots of the two boxes - the 2016s are on the left and 2015s on the right.IMG_20200616_231058_1.jpg.e6280e0aaa797e84792602b9db3448c5.jpg

The warranty seal on the left looks correct for the time period, but the seal on the right is an older pre 2013 seal, which seems odd for a box from 2015, but I'm no expert on when they stopped using the older hologram. the right hand seal is also slightly lighter color (sorry about the lighting here) The box on the right is has slightly shinier embossing, but it's also not as well defined. The embossing on the left is a brassy/grey color and is much more matte.

Again the box on the right the embossing is not as sharp and is shiny and gold, box on the left is very sharp but is again more matte color.

Slightly different Habanos stamp on the bottom and oriented differently

Just wondering if some one knowledgeable with Partagas could weigh in. Just to note, I didn't get these from our host.

Thanks for reading.

I have never seen/ heard of a fake Mille Fleur. It simply wouldn't be worth it.

The seals would be what they had around at the time.  Partagas boxes can vary significantly in the colour shade of the box itself. From intense orange to yellow.

Stamp difference is something that we see every day. Normal and no reason for concern.

Well that's definitely relief. Seemed like a stretch since it's such a budget stick, but I had to ask.

Just giving them a little more down time in the humidor before trying one, the 2016s have smoked awesome besides one very plugged one.

I have seen fonts/ stamp discrepancies on boxes from the same year. I think it can just be chalked up to Cuba.

Tom needs to update us and let us know how those Miller Fleurs have progressed.  Maybe they should be carrying a premium on the secondary market.

Yes, could be like a error baseball card. I wonder how many were produced like that.
