Popular Post nKostyan Posted June 8, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 8, 2020 I don't often listen to music when I smoke a cigar. Usually I read or watch movies. In addition, to write a detailed review of a cigar, I need to focus so that nothing distracts me.In my youth, I listened to rock, punk rock and eventually came to an alternative. I also played a bit of acoustic guitar. My favorite alternative band was Nirvana. It's too heavy music for me right now, but I was reminded of the 1993 Nirvana MTV Unplugged in New York acoustic concert, a great background music for Smoking. I've listened to it dozens of times and remember all the tracks, it won't distract me from the cigar. Now to the cigar. I know it's still young, but I couldn't wait to try it.Draw is optimal. 1/3: Sour-cedar tannic beginning, slightly bitter. Malt-hop aftertaste, a little salt. Medium density smoke, low-medium strength, medium body. Astringent taste enveloping the receptors. In general, the 1/3 profile can be called woody, with spicy spices, salt, and a drop of cream at the background.2/3: after breaking off the ash, the cigar traditionally added strength. Now the tannins have weakened and the cigar has a good woody-spicy profile. Sometimes nutty notes appear. A delicate slow-Smoking the perfect for this cigar. To the middle of the cigar adds body and smokiness, but the strength is unchanged. Finally, there is a bit of sweetness, more like sweet herbs. Closer to the middle of 2/3, the strength has become average, the taste is more or less balanced - I am ready to enjoy this cigar. The taste is woody-spicy with notes of toasted cookies.3/3: excellent almost rounded woody-spicy taste. It is difficult to talk about any evolution, just good taste. Conclusion: aficionados say about profit from the aging of this Cigar from 2 to 5 years. I can not disagree, you need to get rid of excessive and unpleasant tannins. But from the middle this cigar is quite good. Over the years, a pleasant light medium-bodied cigar will mature. If you smoke right now, I would choose an alcohol pair of Porto or sweet sherry. 21 1
Chas.Alpha Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 I have the one that came with last year’s Christmas sampler. You have reinforced my will to keep it in my “Endangered Species” humidor for another year! ? 1
