Popular Post dominattorney Posted June 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 6, 2020 The cigar PLMC from my 2016 box. The photographs, again limited because of the late hour and dark ambiance by the fire. The album, one of the more sophisticated Coltrane Monk performances in my opinion, and a classy pairing Obviously drinking fernet as well. The cigar is perfectly constructed but draws a little snug for my taste. Nothing terrible, but keeps it from scoring above an 8.5 out of ten this time. Flavors are all caramel and toasted tobacco, which intensify until the end when it has to be tossed for becoming bitter. The album is incomparably classy. One of the best Blue Monk takes imo, and the sound quality is warm and intimate. 13
