Popular Post SigmundChurchill Posted February 18, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 18, 2020 While there is still much evidence of Hurricane Irma around the island, there was no evidence of it at the LCDH. I know the store was hit really hard, so it was good to see it in it’s current form. It is a beautiful shop, and they have some hard to find stuff there. I WOULD highly recommend going there if you are in St. Martin, but I can’t imagine anyone that would be reading this, would ever visit the island without making a stop there anyway. 13
FireMedic Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 I'll be there in April, any can't miss items?

She had a really good supply of LCDH cigars that I have never tried, which is nice to be able to buy singles because I never know whether I will like them before buying a whole box. Cohiba Piramides Extra were priced really well. 4 boxes of UAO Siglo VI, which were an average price if you buy 1 box, but priced very well with the 10% discount for buying 2 boxes. She had the The Seleccion x Fest. 2008 Commemorative Case for a steal, but several of the feet were cracked. 4 Book cigars. A San Cristobal Jar, as well as a nice farmhouse looking humidor with San Cristobals. Lots of R/GR singles, but no full boxes. This was all stuff I was considering while I was there, but if the Trinidads are priced well tomorrow, that is where I am going to put my money. 2
FireMedic Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 Got it, I only have a day so trying to plan ahead. Thanks!! 1
mbflash80 Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 did a box split from St. Martin back in 2011 on 2 boxes of Edmundo Dantes Conde 07 release...cigars we received were about 54 ring gauge and the bands had folds in them...lol...total debacle.
EnigmatiC Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 Has anyone been to the island recently and can fill me in with what stock is like? I'm not expecting much so I am bringing cigars with me but was just curious.

EnigmatiC Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 Update Was on the island all last week and as I was walking Front St. in Philipsburg I was shocked to have stumbled upon a LCDH. I walked in and the man running the joint, Gershon (sorry for the spelling!), said they were only open about 2 weeks at that point. They had a great selection, I was able to snag some Sir Winstons, Fundies, box of Regios, and some other singles. Compared to the LCDH in Marigot this much more of a lounge with a full bar and an addition lounge upstairs that was under construction. Gershon (again, sorry for most likely butchering the spelling) was kind enough to share some Diplomatico Ambassador and Blantons Single Barrel with me. Very nice guy who knows his stuff. As far as the rest of the island stock was good I was able to snag some Lusi, Punch DC, RA Gig, RA no. 3, Dip Caribe Exclusive, Glorias, etc. Also got a box of QDO CC for a great price. 3
Greenhorn2 Posted June 15, 2023 Posted June 15, 2023 (edited) I'm going in November. Shhhhh! Be quiet!!! So Carole was in pretty good shape? Was prices reasonable? Edited June 15, 2023 by Greenhorn2
EnigmatiC Posted June 15, 2023 Posted June 15, 2023 Yeah it was good stock considering what’s going on, not great. Prices were pretty palatable, again considering the times. Don’t expect any breaks on the higher end stuff of course.
