Habana Mike Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Here is Ryan's post on the subject. He took the family last year. Looked like a glorious time and Nicola told us she loved it! Helps to have a connection or two Interesting to note, there is not a lot of "Christmas" on the island. You may spot a tree or some lights in the occasional home but nothing much in public.
SCgarman Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 No brainer there. Religion and it's holidays are banned there. Sad. 1

El Presidente Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Di ad I had a great time in Cuba over Christmas 2017. christmas is low key but certainly celebrated. We spent it with Jose, Toby, John, Roberto, etal. Great week of celebrations. The weather is generally great and nothing appeared overly busy. I would do it again in a heartbeat. 2
argrovesjd Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Spending the new year in Havana is a tradition for me. I usually go in on the 30th, and stay for a week. The NYE party at the Tropicana is EPIC. Great weather, not many tourists . Wait...what am I saying..it's a TERRIBLE time to go ? 1
cookj1 Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 NY 2018 there. It was cold and service was at half the normal levels (which isn't saying much).
