Ken Gargett Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 apparently the sky is now dark with flying pigs. forget climate change, hell has frozen over. washington has won something. granted not the skins, of course. nats getting home in the 7th. amazing series. all seven wins came away. astros scored first in all or most of them i think but still went down 4-3. this soto kid looks a talent. if the nats can win, how long before the skins finally crack it again? not holding my breath.
Islandboy Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 Not a real baseball fan myself, but after working with his father for over a decade (over a decade ago) I’ve certainly paid some attention to the long career of Maui boy Kurt Suzuki in the majors. Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving, hard working guy from a humble, down-to-earth family. Congratulations to the Nats!!

anacostiakat Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 Actually the Caps won the championship in 2018. The Mystics just won and now the Nationals have won it all!! Exciting game! Sort of makes the debacle that is the Snyder owned Redskins a pity doesn't it? 2
prodigy Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 My dad bet big on them in may when they were there worst team in the league. I told him he was being ridiculous. Now I regret notdoing it myself! Great series. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Dad and my brother took me to many games. When Short took the Senators to Texas, I was truly sad. Except the Skins were a winning organization then. So for baseball, there was only the Orioles. Until the Expos came in 2005. Then the O's became a sideshow for me. And now, 14 years later, The Nats are World Series Champions! Believe the last one was in 1924, long time coming. 1
Wailbait Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 Clearly it’s a mandate from heaven rewarding the city for all the good it has done for the World at large. 2
