Popular Post rcarlson Posted September 29, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 29, 2019 This was my breakfast smoke today. Generally, I have found these to be little powerhouses. Not this guy. Opening flavours of light spice, wood, cream, and some grassiness. Certainly not rich. A bit flat and lacking the testicular fortitude of the others from the same batch. Lightly rolled. A little looser than I prefer and what I am used to with Cohiba of any size. On the upside it gave out tons of smoke and a consistent, even burn. The Sig II is the smallest rg in a Cohiba I've ever gone with. I was optimistically hoping for the traditional blast of subtle, clean sweetness but found myself disappointed. Mostly toasted woodiness, little twang, and lack of discernible depth or evolution. Like a surfer on flat seas, I kept waiting for the surge that never came. As with so many Cohibas, my first love, I was left wanting. Will I continue to get up on this horse? Hell yeah. I have experienced true bliss with Cohiba. Just not this morning. I'll give this one a C+. I know the Sig II to have more potential. Can't win them all with Cohiba but you almost never lose. 5 1
BeerPimp Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Have some PSP Siglo II's resting right now. I am going to wait until next year to try one.
