Wish lists

So does anyone ever set up a "wish list" on cigar sites, and if you do, do you ever go back to that list and make your purchases?

I have a wishlist, but it’s just a word document. I found it helpful to keep track of cigars I wanted to try still and ones I need to restock. I don’t really keep it up to date anymore to be honest though. I found it most helpful when I was super new to CC’s and still smoked NC’s as I wasn’t really familiar with CC offerings and there are so many NC’s that I wager even seasoned smokers can’t keep track of all the up and coming brands and new offerings. These days the NC’s I purchase are generally the ones I already know I like, and I am more or less familiar with the Cuban catalogue - at least enough so to mentally track everything I want to purchase in the near future. Thus I don’t find the wishlist particularly helpful. Maybe if I had a much larger collection, but as is, somewhat unnecessary.

             *I keep wish lists - mainly in my head and a very few requested on other sites should they become available. With my experiences on what I want...if I find a site (usually untested by very many buyers), and if that site just happens to have EXACTLY what I want, rarity-be-damned...that tells me they're probably - no, most definitely- not the Real McCoy, and I don't patronize them.  So I just stay longing, wishing, and having to day dream of acquiring them one day/some day.

Are you thinking of adding this feature to a site?

I don't use a wish list but I do use Amazon's save for later button, which shows up at the bottom of my shopping cart.

 

I would like sites, FOH *cough*, to offer gift certificates.

I used them frequently on sites that offer this feature - would be great to get an alert from the FOH store when something comes back in stock.

On our radar for 2020. 

We had a few things to knock off this year. Next year we will be relocating offshore and have the facilities to run a dual program (including a wishlist)

I think of winning money, and just being able to order boxes of different CC's....nice to dream!   I like non-CC's , but nothing compares to a CC

Thanks all for responding, I totally forgot to check this again......so sorry about that. Yeah I tend to make wish lists, then forget I made them, and never buy off of them. However, I do make a list on Amazon, and always buy from that list (really helpful with wife's birthday or Christmas).

 

Excellent & dangerous news Rob, but hopefully if I make a list I won't forget about it.
