I've enjoyed most of them but they haven't been my favorite DC surprisingly. I seem to enjoy the Hoyo DC more but I digress. The performance of this cigar was good with a perfect draw and mostly perfect burn. The flavors were a fairly complex array of cake, white pepper, cedar, sweet spices and toasted tobacco all wrapped up in that Cuban twang. Reading this one would think I really enjoyed the cigar but it just didn't excite me like an 898 or PSD4 in the same line or a Hoyo in the same vitola. I can't really put my finger on why these are good but not great for me. If I had to grade it based on performance and balance it would be a 96 but to grade it on performance and my enjoyment of it I would be at a 91. That rating still isn't bad, as I said I enjoyed it just is not my favorite, but if I'm going to spend the money and time to smoke a DC I want to be excited about it as 2+ hours is a big time commitment. 8
