I’m staying with a friend in Toronto this weekend and will be making a stop at the lcdh here tomorrow. Anyone have any experience with this place and the selection/prices?

The LCDH on Yorkville is very nice with a good selection.

Prices are quite high compared to most countries due to taxation similar to the UK.

You can't smoke in the shop.

Wow. We've reached the point where you can't smoke a cigar in a cigar shop.

Always a shame when you can’t smoke in a cigar shop. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a few that I’ve been wanting to try and bring them home with me.

You can smoke out front. The crew at the Toronto LCDH are top notch.  In terms of pricing. Your best bang for the buck are QdO 50's and PL Picadores. The staff can make you a nice espresso to enjoy with your smoke. Lots of regulars hang out front and smoke. You won't be alone.  There is also a vintage section in the humidor if you want to try something with some age.

I’ll be sure to keep those in mind. Looking to get there around 10.30 or so and hoping not to spend too much money but that never happens haha

Ended up getting a partagas presidente and a Vegas robina classicos. The guy at the store was marveling about the plume on some other cigars they had and that made me judge them a bit but oh well
