Oh, JL 1.  How I love you. 

Excellent wrapper; excellent construction.  As expected, sweet grass creamy, buttery envelope.  This box lacks the floral I’ve found in other boxes.  No problemo.  Character and taste still "all there."

Warm bready and light honey moves in and remains.  Sweet, rich, doughy and toasted nuts.

This stick was consistent all the way through.  Unlike it’s younger brothers, there was no "mongrel" or nicotine bite towards the end.  No doubt slower smoking.  I usually huff these guys. 

I see no reason to age these.  They are only a year out and terrific.  Balanced, flavorful, satiating and easy on the wallet.   

Haven’t had a bad one yet. This was no exception.  I give another "A."

I'm happy to hear this. I just received a box yesterday that I purchased blind. I've smoked the #2 that was great, but liked the size of the #1 better so went with it. Thanks for the review!
