Draws perfectly. Starts immediately with a sweet bread note like fresh brioche. After a few puffs, it's more like toasted brioche. It's pleasant, but average. Coming into the 2/3, it really picks up. I get a light fruity flavor like white grapes and a tad bit of nectarine and sweet tea. The toast remains, and the way the flavors have melded is like toast with a little jelly. This flavor remains fairly consistent through to the end. Burn and overall construction have been top notch. I've said before that I think the Pacificos is a good cigar, not great. I find myself really wanting more fruitiness like the Serie A, but I know I'm really reaching for criticism there. 91/100, definitely a nice cigar that has aged well. I don't know if they will improve much after the 10 year mark, but I have a few left and will definitely revisit them again. ChanceSchmerr Posted June 17, 2019 Share Posted June 17, 2019 I'll be the dissenting voice - I absolutely love these cigars. They have more depth, stone-fruit richness and overall character (for lack of a better descriptor) than most other regular SLRs, except perhaps for a spot-on SLR DC, or the long lost Coronas/PCs. But what I will say is that I only have that experience with the earlier release Pacificos, those with the older bands (rounded lettering, poor embossing). I find the ones with the newer bands, where the lettering is clean and the embossing vivid - they just aren't the same, almost muted versions of the older ones. If you can find one with the older band, give it a try and see if you have a different experience! In any case, cheers for the review mate!
