Popular Post havanaclub
Haven’t had one of these in a while so I was excited to see how they are coming along. Paired this with SDC 12. Started off all cocoa and very sweet. I don’t recall this cigar having that amount of sweetness. Beginning to think as I type this that it was the rum. Medium strength. Into the second third I started to get the classic coffee/ cocoa monte EL and these have definitely smoothed out. My last sample probably almost a year ago had some rough edges and pepper. Not much pepper at all in this sample. Was getting some barnyard like notes which reminded me of a nica stick... interesting. Last third picked up in body to higher end of medium and was all chocolate. All in all it was a very good cigar, however somewhat linear. I was wanting a little more complexity with it. I really think these will improve with time to help them balance out and pick up more flavours. Burn and construction was flawless. Absolutely no touch ups. Score 91. Cheers FoH.
