Never had a Lusi that was too old and had a few that were around 30 years old.  Not sure if the blend has changed over the years, but I suspect it has to the newer strains used throughout the portfolio.

I believe it's inevitable that some changes in blends occur over time, but in my experience much less so then most other cigars that have been around for as long. And I completely agree with you, never smoked a flavourless Lusi, no matter how old. It's simply one of the best Habanos, IMHO.

Hold on to them.  Sample 1/year to see how they perform/transform. I've smoked my Lusi's at the 3+ years of age point and find them balanced.  If you don't need the money from selling them, keep them.  The journey is worth it.  And regret can be costly should you ever come across an aged Lusi you liked and you have none left yourself.  ;)

10+ year old Lusitania's can cost all the money, so it's worth keeping them for sure.  Even if it's just to sell them later on.

I would certainly taste test as the aging continues and see what you think

So the it seems like I should hold on to them, which is what I will do for now.  Still too cold to invest 2 hours of time to enjoy a cigar, but maybe in a month I will have another.

I grabbed a beautiful box of 10 while in Havana and another box of 25 on PSP/HQ from the host - which I'm waiting for like an excited child!

Only ever had them young but had so many recommendations to age some. So putting both boxes away for the long term.

Thankfully I don't smoke often and there are so many cigars to choose from anyway!
