99call Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 Cohiba Robusto 2005? Aroma at cold: Almost nothing, 1st 3rd Bought this as a collection of singles, in 2015, and whilst the Hoyo DC was very good, this appears to be as dead as a door nail. Has to be said, I just don’t really like Cohiba, apart from the newly found Medio Siglo, which I really like. A faint lemony, butter/cheshire cheese like flavour. not much else. I don’t think these had the best care, prior to my ownership 2nd 3rd Bit of barley sugar sweetness, soft hay, sadly just falls on deaf ears with me, just not my bag. I can see the class and poise, but all I can think of is, “I wish I was smoking a trini”. Getting lemony, but no lemongrass. A few burn issues. 3rd 3rd Little bit of tangerine sweetness, that i’ve only ever picked up with UK Gran Cano’s before. Very pleasant but not worth the money in my opinion. Thats not to say they are not fantastic cigars, but just not for me. Buttery, viscous finish. Conclusion I’ve come to the conclusion that for me to enjoy Cohiba, it has to be ‘amped up’ and currently the Medio Siglo, is my only go to. Like what a bacon sandwich it too vegetarians i.e. the “ultimate rule breaker” Score I’m sure someone else would score this 94?95? but for me it’s a 89. Respect the blend, I just don’t think it’s a good one……for me
Markspring1978 Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 While I think my review of this cigar would be different, I enjoy reading all the reviews you post. Thank you. 1

Thank you. Yep, I can completely see that, and we all have different palettes, slash different takes. I think when you put everyones reviews together on a specific cigar, you get a correlation and consensus. It's all a get source of info, that we'd be much poorer without. Cheers for the response
