99call Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 RASS 17 Aroma at cold Not too much, bit of old leather, quite subdued 1st 3rd lovely soft opening, Like a bag of chocolate raisins. I think these were clearance i.e not oil monsters, but I quite like RASS with slightly matter wrappers. really soft and creamy with milk chocolate, prune and raisins. A tiny bit of age is doing wonders. Perfect draw. Soft woodsy retro, no pinch 2nd 3rd Develops now with profile that I would swear was a good 5yrs +. Double check the box, Ha! these are actually 15’s. makes a bit more sense now. Reminds me of ‘Bolo de Mel” a Portuguese dark honey cake (think dark dates, and madeira wine) i.e it doesn't taste of honey 3rd 3rd I’ve had many better RASS than this, but it’s still pretty lush, Retro lovely and soft, like walking into an antiques shop. Sadly, it starts to tail off now, starting to become a little uneventful. Conclusion Nice little relaxing smoke. this was about 55% as good as a RASS can be. The flavours could be picked, but won’t remember this one Score 87 perfectly good, but I’m pretty confident this will be one of the least impressive from the box Bolo de Mel or 'honey cake' pictured for those who are interested 3
leafdream54 Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 Great review and great flavor descriptions! "Reminds me of ‘Bolo de Mel” a Portuguese dark honey cake (think dark dates, and madeira wine)" - paints a great picture of flavors ?? 1
