Zedman05 Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 I believe I just saw a couple boxes of Esplendidos in the small shop on Mercederes today, the only place I have noticed them. I also saw the only box of Punch Regios EL's there too. Nothing of note in all the shops. There were a few Dumas' around, but not in huge quantities.

Regarding your comment about singles - is it safe to assume they're possible selling singles from "brother/sister/cousin that works at the factory?" I ask because I purchased a quarter box or more of the same singles and received the box at some while doing the same at others and was declined. That is pretty neat. Surprised they lasted that long in Havana. Very much an outlier. And no Lusis anywhere? Odd. The Punch DC though. Wow. I would've bought all 3 of those instantly.

Zedman05 Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Apparently the Comodoro just got some more rum in...
Popular Post nKostyan Posted November 23, 2018 Popular Post Posted November 23, 2018 Not from Havana, but from Cayo Santa Maria my friend bought 5 boxes of 15 pieces Siglo V 2013 release. This is a great success 7
LLC Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Apparently the Comodoro just got some more rum in...I was looking for that for a friend everywhere I could in Havana with no luck finding it. I had to be the one looking because he kept saying “what is that San Diego rum again.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Ryan Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 That Santiago 11 has been hard to find for at least 2-3 years now, well done. I've been hearing all kinds of rumours about it, discontinuation etc. For me, best finds were 3 boxes of Cohiba Talisman and 2 boxes of Trinidad La Trova. These took some effort though. Other than that. The Por Larranaga Picadores are fantastic at the moment and many boxes to be found. H Upmann Connoisseur B were to be found but not many. A few boxes around of the Punch 48 and I'm liking these very much at the moment. Lots of boxes around of the Bolivar Tubos No. 1, surprised that these are still around, they can be great. 1

The mexican company that produced the 11 yo bottles had problems with Trump. A new factory had to be hired in Dominican Republic. Meanwhile the production stopped. Rumors that it will be discontinued. Not sure about that. About the factory I have reasons to believe it's true.
ElJavi76 Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 The travesty of the trip was at the Club Habana, where I purchased my CR Monsdales. They had a cab of HdM Double Coronas. I grab the box and shivers go up and down my spine... It feels light immediately. IT'S OPEN! I slide the lid open and there were about 7 or 8 cigars missing. Who in their right mind opens or breaks up a cab of Double Coronas and sells singles. A real shame IMHO.

Though the Punch DC 50s...wonder who bought those
PartagasIV Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Stacks of provincial factory Sir Winstons at Partagas along with 4 boxes of Hoyo DC rolled at Upmann (!!) on Wednesday...smattering of Dumas, Regios LE, CoRo I saw various places, tons of 10-count Lusi boxes at Nacionale. Was gifted a banded upcoming robusto reserva but obviously no boxes yet on shelves...Quai 50 everywhere and at least MSU SEP18, superb; 54 MIA.
rckymtn22 Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 My big find was at the Varadero airport, one of the stores had 3 boxes of Trinidad La Trova in their humidor. I was up against the limits so I grabbed a ARS ABR 18 box.
bmf30180 Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 The Nacionale had a dozen or so boxes of Q'Do 54's last night.
