I have, and many things I used to not like at all as I kid i now enjoy a lot. Sour beer could be something i like in the future, but I highly doubt it.

I tried a sour beer about 2 years ago and really fell in love with the style.   I can't drink it all the time but I do routinely enjoy one.

I have a few beers aging in the cellar that may approach $37.  Several from Deschutes.  09 and newer Abyss and Black Butte bombers, Chimay blue, and some older Goose Island stuff before they were bought by an evil empire.

In saying that, I’m not opposed to an icy Coors from time to time for hydration purposes.

Schmaltz makes a Imperial stout "Jewbalation" from Sept-Nov that has had as high 16% that is a tremendous bang for the buck (under $10/22 oz bomber)

Dark Lord in April-pricey but they have a lot of little brothers that are very good

Dark Horizons-17% paid $25  for a bomber worth every penny

Breakfast Stout by Founders-$10/4 pack 8.3%, tremendous value

There are others Ten Fiddy, Hoppin Frog, Southern Tier makes a few Imperial Stouts that above 10% that are outstanding and wont break the bank

If I had the opportunity to purchase and try a Westvleteren 12, I would certainly pay that much.  I love Belgian beer.

For anything else, even a Rochefort 10, that is too damn high.

The unfortunate thing about Westvleteren 12 is that it really is very good. I've read a few postings in various places online that said it was a lot like St. Bernardus 12, but they aren't similar at all. St Bernardus is a lot sweeter and almost syrupy to my palate, whereas Westvleteren is much deeper and more complex.
