Derboesekoenig Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 Yep I've got 2 boxes of those CCE that are REG, in my OLH. Also, Monte Esp No2, Part. Shorts 50 cab, and RASS 50 cab. 1 1
nKostyan Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 Factories codes change every year, so 2017 and 2018 will be different factories

havanaclub Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 I got REG talisman and 50 cab of shorts. Both beauties. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
bpm32 Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 I’ve seen some REG Punch Punch recently that were fairly ugly....not reject quality, but getting there.

The codes we are currently on changed over late summer of last year, I believe. Even looking at the chart you posted, you can see examples of codes spanning multiple years.

Until about 2000, the codes did not change at all. Of course, the factory begins to produce a batch not from the beginning of the year, but when the batch of tobacco is ripe and the factory received a plan for the production of cigars. I asked my Cuban friends about the REG Code, but in recent years it is very difficult to find out. Buyers want Cigars from the best factories, and Habanos wants us to buy all Cigars from the bad factories. And Habanos doesn't want us to know that Cohiba is made not only in El Laguito, but in other factories... 1

So you may get the same factory / code that goes into the following year for a few months and up to almost another full year. They don't just stop at DIC and new ones at ENE. I don't think HSA is that sharp ?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 1
El Presidente Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 Not Sure Which Factory REG is. However it is one of the top codes currently. 1

ponfed Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 I don't know about the cigars but they should work on their box code stamping skills... 1
Piligrim Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 all new Russian regionals RA Hermitage were rolled at REG factory. as for changing box codes, it happens not in January mostly and you can see same factory code at different years boxes for sure. 1
