Yep I've got 2 boxes of those CCE that are REG, in my OLH. Also, Monte Esp No2, Part. Shorts 50 cab, and RASS 50 cab.

This is from a RASS 50 cab.  I was hoping a factory code of "MSU" but instead I received "REG".

I think what he was trying to say is that the codes often last for more that one year, and when they change it doesn’t happen at the start of the year. The codes we are currently on changed over late summer of last year, I believe. Even looking at the chart you posted, you can see examples of codes spanning multiple years.

Until about 2000, the codes did not change at all. Of course, the factory begins to produce a batch not from the beginning of the year, but when the batch of tobacco is ripe and the factory received a plan for the production of cigars. I asked my Cuban friends about the REG Code, but in recent years it is very difficult to find out. Buyers want Cigars from the best factories, and Habanos wants us to buy all Cigars from the bad factories. And Habanos doesn't want us to know that Cohiba is made not only in El Laguito, but in other factories...

Years overlap sir. So you may get the same factory / code that goes into the following year for a few months and up to almost another full year. They don't just stop at DIC and new ones at ENE. I don't think HSA is that sharp ?
