this might be quite extraordinary but it really hurts. but the stats have spoken (these were sent to me by a skins fanatic - i have not sat down and checked them but he normally nails this stuff). it seems impossible to be more mediocre, middle-of-the-road than the skins. sure, there have been poor years and then the glory years - a lot of teams would love three superbowls in the trophy cabinet. but how do you argue against this.

this is before we take on, and hopefully thrash, the cowgirls tomorrow. but these are really amazing stats.

in the last two games, we are 1-1.

in the last four games, we are 2-2.

in the last six games, we are 3-3.

in the last ten games, we are 5-5.

in the last twelve games, we are 6-6.

in the last fourteen games, we are 7-7.

in the last twenty games, we are 10-10.

in the last 33 games, we are 16-16-1.

in the last 37 games, we are 18-18-1.

in the last 57 games, we are 28-28-1.

but if you think that is amazing, cop this - extraordinary.

since October 12, 1940, we are 547-547-20.

it does not get much more middle-of-the-road than that.

the bad news is that after the last 8 wins, we are 1-7. so if you are backing anyone, perhaps the cowgirls look good.

:football:  HaHa.  Yea they are.  With a subpar receiving corp (including injuries) and offensive line play I don't see a ton of improvement this year.  Too much pressure on the qb and receivers not getting open on a regular basis.  Peterson has played well and we are lucky to have him after the devastating injury to Guice and fumbling Perine.  :tantrum:  On the plus side the defensive line is good.

Add poor coaching and well that is what you got.
