Discontinued's via the Frankenstein process??

I'm aware there's a great many CC enthusiasts that feel frustrated that they're are chasing discontinued smokes.  Some of them a great, and some of them are just different blends, plain and simple. 

My question is this...... is it possible to take 2 or even 3 cigars that are still available in the standard HSA line up, and give something close to a given discontinued stick.    For example a Hoyo Des Dieux  may be approximated (to some degree) with a fairly fresh and tannic Hoyo Epicure Especial and a Fonseca No 1 with a year or two on it.  The rich tannic creamy woods and the soft floral vanilla, getting you somewhere close.
