Bolivar Tubos 2, 2002 Unk Code, 46 South Review Weekend

First off thank you @topdiesel for this cigar.  This was an amazing eye opener for me.  This cigar was great after 16 years in a tube.  To my extreme surprise it still had a slight slight touch of ammonia.  Hard to believe, but makes me realize how much tubes maybe really do slow the aging process down.  

Had all the traits aged Bolivar.  Earth , sweet, dark, slight fungal, and woodiness.  Cedar galore.  Sweet cedar and clean tobacco.  Just an ever so slight floral character I associate with young cigars.  Added an interesting change to the cigar for sure.  Very enjoyable.  Delicious.

In my opinion Bolivar ages better than any other Marca.  Hands down.  For people new to this—if you want to build an incredible selection of aged cigars—buy up as many Bolivar as you can.  They are just stunning with 10 plus years.

Never had a Boli with over 10 years on it but Boli is for sure the most well represented marca in my collection, hoping one day some of mine will have 10 years!

As a Bolivar whore, I find this both exquisitely described and absolutely mouth watering!

Couldn't agree more! I was very lucky to track down two boxes of BCE a couple of years ago, one '98 and one, legendary TEB '07 and Oh! My! God!

I remember that in the AIEOPRHC by Min Ron Nee says  you can build a first rate cigar cellar with just Bolivar in 5 years. Too bad some of the best of the Marca, the CE and the CG are gone. I wonder what a box of 2015 BCG will command in 2025. What a shame they are gone.
