So there I was sitting in a lounge a couple of months ago enjoying a Maduro 5 Secretos when the smoke began to water my eyes. Literally. Now I like to think of myself as a fairly tough dude, but something about the smoke made me want to cry like a schoolgirl. My eyes were burning like they were set on fire by Lucifer himself and tears were flowing at an astonishing rate. I put the thing down in the ashtray and went to the bathroom to flush my eyes with water. What the hell happened? Has this ever happened to anyone else? It was seriously like I had some freakish allergic reaction that I’ve never had with any other cigar before or since. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
oliverdst Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Once, just once, a not big smoke puffed by me went straight to my right eye. It hurt a little at the that very moment but in the next day my eye was big and red. It looked like a severe case of conjunctivitis. I can't remember which cigar it was.

I never bring my cigar to the urinal. I have the (probably irrational) fear of microscopic piss droplets splashing back on the cigar. Chellams Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Haha! The cigar shop/lounge that I occasionally go to in Greer, SC has an ashtray set up like that next to the commode. I always thought that was really weird. And as for the eyes watering, my buddy’s dad like to hotbox the shop when we all smoke, sometime to the point where you can barely see across the room.
