joshhooper7 Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 What would you say if Prez opened up a cigar 'club' and charged a monthly premium? Say, $300 per month and you get one assorted PSP box shipped to your doorstep. Like most clubs, benefits outweigh the cost, so some months you may receive a gorgeous box of RYJ Short Churchills, and one month you may receive a gorgeous box of Sir Winston. Of course, in order to send the really high end stuff at $300/mo we'd have to be in understanding that some months we will get a significantly cheaper priced box so that he can afford to give us this luxury. I personally think it would be amazing to receive a random box of top notch cigars once a month on top of what I'd normally order, how about you? Josh 1
ShortFatHokie Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 Probably not enough supply to cover demand...
Popular Post El Presidente Posted August 7, 2018 Popular Post Posted August 7, 2018 I honestly wouldn't ever have enough stock. I am struggling now as it is ...why am I laughing 3 7
Derboesekoenig Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 This is why he does 24:24 every day. I always felt like it was a "club" in itself, in that it's fair game for everyone here

awkwardPause Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 I guess I'll join as long as I'm guaranteed a rotating shipment of, oh say, maybe some Des Dieux, Esplendidos, and Sir Winstons. I don't care what order they come in as long as one box arrives per month. See how easy I am? ? 1
luckme10 Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 I'll just take the Sir Winstons PSP cigar club. Sign me up! I understand that might be too difficult to accomplish. Instead, I'd also sign up for the porter house steak club, baked potato, and micro brewery club, all you need to do is bring the plate to my couch and spoon feed me. I like the steak medium rare. 1
SMQQKIN Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 That would take all the fun out of it. It is the chase that keeps us on our toes. El Pres figured that out years ago... 1
Akela3rd Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 PSP or not, you'd end up with cigars in sizes and marcas you don't actually want. Sent from my ActionMan walkie-talkie 2
Danimalia Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 I think it's a cool idea. With my budget you'd find me at the "Clearance Club," though ?
Cayman17 Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Clubs sound great in theory but the novelty does wear off. I’m in some Napa winery “clubs” and the quarterly insider shipments have gotten a bit out of hand (not to mention the bills pile up quickly when multiple orders ship at the same time). I much prefer the 24:24 sale format, which gives you more control over orders, albeit at the risk of getting shut out when all the boxes (of CoRo, CoLa, etc.) seem to vaporize instantaneously.
taylorgov2 Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 I would love to see more of the singles mix of whatever is up on the 24:24 that day for sale as well. Still being somewhat new to CCs, a whole box commitment is a big gamble for me when I've never tried it before but buying a single of each cigar featured in a variety pack from that day's 24:24 is a good way for us newbies to sample some more sticks with a smaller impact on my wallet. I know you can buy singles from the store any time but it seems that sometimes the 24:24 has stuff that's not available from the store (maybe I'm wrong about this?). This is just my personal preference right now but I would buy the variety packs a lot more right now so I can try more CCs so that I can find out what I like and don't like being that I'm still relatively new to CCs (about a year now). I mostly buy the quarter box options when they're up on 24:24 but because of those quarter box purchases, I've been able to find some that I really like and then purchase a whole box when I see them up again on the 24:24. 1
