I will be in Seattle next week and was wondering if any of you had recommendations for cigar loungue or good places to smoke in the city. Portland has a few so I'd assume Seattle does as well.

Thanks FOH!

Sorry to say that indoor smoking has been completely banned in Seattle. Not a single lounge to be found.

However, if you wish to shoot heroin at lunchtime in the middle of the downtown Seattle shopping district, you won’t be bothered by the police, nor anyone else.

Source: firsthand observation, and Seattle Police who’ve told me that they’ve been instructed not to bother the addicts because “it’s not showing compassion.”  But don’t light up a cigar!

Wrap some rolling papers around your cigar so it looks like a enormous joint and you'll be fine.

Snoqualmie Casino in North Bend has a nice cigar lounge, about 30 miles east of downtown, just off I 90.

Geez, I remember living there in the 90's and firing up a heater at the Comet on Capitol Hill with no issues....Heck, they even had tins of Drum and papers if you wanted to roll a smoke to have with your Ballard Bitter.

One of my fondest memories is when my roommate convinced me to head there after being up for over a day working and studying and being super tired. I actually fell asleep sitting in a booth and he just let me sleep there for an hour or so before waking me up. Thanks Harry.

Found a place called the Vertigo Club which has indoor smoking and looks pretty nice but is members/invitation only. Ugh!

Fifth generation Washingtonian here. Seattle is clamping down on anything that isn’t marijuana. Pretty much any crazy law that gets passed anywhere in CA ends up in Seattle.

Haha, it's not California's fault,... Seattle has gotten pretty f 'ed up all on its own!

I haven't lived there in years, but I think it is still legal to smoke in public as long as your are at least 25' away from a doorway or business entry. There are some parks / waterfront areas where you might find a little privacy but be prepared for the stink eye and the phony coughing fits from the local do gooders.

+1 for Smokey Joe’s in Fife. Depending on where you’re staying you can check NA casinos in the area for a smoking lounge.

We watched them for years slowly working their way up Oregon like a killer bee swarm as we nervously clutched our Olympias (“It’s the water!”) and “shall-issued” CPLs. “Maybe the Columbia will stop them?,” some wondered, but we forgot about the bridges....the bridges! But it was too late to destroy them.

Can't go wrong with Smokey Joe's or Snoqualmie Casino.

Smh.

Called the hotel I am staying at and the only option they have for a smoking area is 20ft from the front doors lol and no where to sit. Keep in mind this is a 5 star hotel downtown Seattle.

Too far to uber. I'm flying into town and do not have a car besides uber or public transportation.
