Sugar House in Detroit is amazing. I was there last week. I can't comment on that daiquiri but the penicillin is great.

I must be a rube; never been to any of them :(

Same here. But seriously, who makes these lists?  Minneapolis?  Athens, GA and Daphne, Alabama?

Kind of a random sampling but I guess that’s the point.

I’ll happily drink any cocktail on (or off) the menu at the Eiffel Tower Bar in Paris Las Vegas any day. Their mixologists are excellent, and all ingredients are fresh ground fruit, so don’t ask for peach schnapps in your Bellini, because they don’t (and won’t) make them that way!

Personally, I do not completely trust magazines like Esquire since they can be subjective like restaurant review (reviews cannot be 100% objective unfortunately, I admit this applies to me as well) but some of bars make me wish to visit for trying .

Cocktails.

Please stop.

Straight booze, no ice.

That's it. That's what men drink. Stop the rest of this 'cocktail craze' crap.

There, I said it. Flame away femmes.

Manci's Antique Club in Daphne is in my neck of the woods.  It's okay.

IMHO if you can't smoke a cigar in it, it's not a great bar.

Dornans in Moose,Wy...Best view and deck of any bar I’ve ever been.

Of course, it’s my “Cheers” bar.  I’m sure the Cheers reference dates me....
