tommy
Brother in-law was gifted a few Cubans. The band ink was so splotchy I couldn't imagine this was a genuine Cohiba cigar. Dissected to be sure. Can anyone verify my conclusion? I wanted to be sure before I told him to toss them. High-res pics attached of the label and the dissection. CIGAR: Looked to be a triple cap and long leaf filler. The wrapper wasn't terrible but not great, and the binder seemed to be a bit lacking. Aroma was a strong and fermented - almost to the point of ammonia. Forgot to take measurements of the original cigar. BAND: the label was embossed but the gold ink was everywhere. Overall print quality was pretty sloppy, but the richness of the black, yellow and gold ink. All indications point to fake, but heck maybe this is a genuine stick from 10 or 15 years ago for all I know. Any thoughts?

n0s4atu
Not the worst fake I've seen in terms of what's inside, but the band seems to be the giveaway here. Welcome to the forum.
99call
Oh misses Cohiba!, you are such a cruel mistress I'm convinced good people of Cuba, would be better served by using all this varnished timber to build the HMS ESPLENDIDO, and sail for the states.
