If you are not smoking Fundadores courtesy of El Pres, you should hop on the bus.
Smoking beautifully right now.
ARS SEP 17
I recently received a box of ARS NOV 17 that are taking a nice 6 month snooze.
These are my first foray into Trinidad, and they are most enjoyable.
All aboard.

Good to know. My only experience to date with Trinidad is a box of Coloniales....it’s all but gone and I have yet to feel the love. I’ve got a box of Fundies, MUP Oct 17, that look and smell fantastic, but I’ve yet to try one. Sounds like I should.

Better light one up brother. Tomorrow is not promised.

I may be in the minority, but I like the more recent Fundadores over the original '98 release.  Well, more recent for me is around 2005 or so...  I haven't tried the newest ones, but intend to do so if I can ever reply back in time when he offers them...

The Fundadores sold out on that 24:24 listing yesterday, as did the other cigars listed. I believe they took longer to sell out because Fundadores have been listed more often than usual lately.

I concur with the original poster, these latest batches of Fundadores have been great. I've enjoyed some with a nice complexity to them...dough, earth, wood and spice flavours complementing that sweet Trinidad tea!

That Fundi box pictured and posted by Rob truly looked spectacular!

How much time do you get out of one?  Close to 2 hours?  Have heard great things but I rarely have much more than 1 hour at night after the kids go to bed, so I usually play in the robusto/PC sandbox

If you got an hour, get a Reyes. The Reyes is my Medio-Fundadores. Lasting me well north of 60 min usually. You can't squeeze a Fundi into an hour time slot, needs to be smoked slow. Rush it and you'll spoil it

Yea that’s why I haven’t bought any yet. I just know I won’t have the time to smoke it properly. Will look into the Reyes for sure

After reading this, I'm very excited that I snagged a 5er recently.
