Fuzz
Stay safe everyone, and remember... duck & cover! In all seriousness, though, stay out of its way and keep safe.

Like we have done in the past. Put them in touch with other local members. Raise some funds if necessary. Stay in touch. it's not that hard. Islandboy
I’ve been on Maui most of my life - for the last 40+ years, but I have fond memories of childhood in Kamuela on the Big Island until about age 9. My late father owned property in Kalapana, which has since been reclaimed by an earlier lava flow, so this is nothing new. There’s a primal finality to what you see in the photos, unlike most other natural disasters. It’s basically a do-over of several thousand years. No rebuilding, just starting over elsewhere. My heart goes out to those humans impacted, but with the help of friends and ohana, life will find a way to go on. This may sound strange to some, but my dismay is over those pets that were unfortunately left behind to figure the cluster***k out for themselves. I hope their survival instincts remain strong. 3

Duxnutz
From USA today. Thoughts to everyone affected. Not much going on on rest of the islands except pollution (VOG) forecast for Friday with change in winds.
ayepatz
The power of nature is awesome. Until it destroys your house and forces you from your property. Best wishes to all affected.
