I have seen this happen at least 20 times in my life and have even done it once myself after several double scotches in the weeeeee hours of the mornin'

Another cigar fail was my buddy first time smoking I gave him a Drew Estate Papas Fritas (band at the bottom of the cigar) he didn't take the band off and just smoke band and all. I cringed but he still enjoyed it. lol

Benfica77: I've also seen that burning foot band silliness in progress.  You want to say something, but then you don't want them to feel bad, particularly as they're waxing rhapsodic about the flavors.
