planetary Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Amazing how a program with such potential could deliver such disappointing results. Granting that aged cigars aren't everyone's thing, and even granting that the years aren't going to be equally kind to each cigar, HSA should be able to deliver something at least as good as the PCC Vintage program. Shouldn't they? 1
Gamehawker Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 I was really looking forward to this cigar. I am so glad I did not buy a box.
JohnS Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 So in summary...a serviceable, yet boring cigar-smoking experience?

El Presidente Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 it does make the Connie 1 look like remarkable value. 1
havanaclub Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Thanks for the honest review. Glad I didn’t grab a box in Cuba last month. They were plenty of them and pretty cheap. 200 or so. Was tempted because I love Upmann. Too bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

David88 Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 It’s a shame that these anejados releases don’t live up to expectation. The idea behind it is great. Unfortunately when they are releasing non-standard vitolas for each marca it doesn’t allow you to see the benefit that the aging process has had. Imagine if they just put away 10,000 boxes of a regular production cigar to be released with an anejados sticker after 10 years. 10 year old ‘anejados’ Siglo VI would go for mega money. 1
MoeFOH Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 My first chance to sit in on a review (and probably my last due to the outcome!). And, well, yeah, it was challenging to comment on that one... I also forgot to take my shoes off, so Ken has likely blacklisted me. Oh, well... 3
Vitty Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 I find these a nice change of pace cigar with the few I've had out of a 2011 coded box. Paired fairly well some elijah craig barrel proof bourbon. I've had a few now and they have been decent cigars. Worth giving a fiver a shot.
