I am off to Tokyo tonight.

A quick google search has given me a couple of reasonable cigar bars to visit.    I plan to go to the Chardonnay Cigar bar in Harajuku.

Being a 3-month newbie in the cigar world, it will be my first visit to a bar.  Looking forward to this very very much

The aquarium at Alfred Dunhill in Ginza on third floor. Cigars after 5pm.

Awesome place for a drink and cigar.

I used to go to Le Connaisseur in Shibuya when I lived and studied in Japan. I went back there in October 2017 and it was a great experience. My friend who lives in Tokyo told me that the Park Hyatt in Shinjuku is worth checking out, but I’ve never been there myself. Have fun on your vacation!

Topping an old thread...  Headed up to Tokyo in a couple of weeks - any updates on the above list?  I visited La Connaisseur a couple of times.  Chardonnay looks interesting as well, and I'll check out the LCDH for sure when I'm there.  But is there any place where you can bring your own and just order a drink or two?  Tenqoo is a maybe but it looks like the sort of joint where a Japanese beer like Asahi is 15 bucks.

Anybody know anything near (train ride) from Narita?

The bar on the third floor here after 5pm is a great place for a cigar. I always enjoy this spot.

Before or after you get on the train?  If it's the latter, depends on where in Tokyo you're getting off the train (and NEX or Skyliner).

Aquarium looks interesting.  Do they have a cover charge?

Awesome, thank you.  That sounds like my bring your own choice (though Chardonnay may be worth a trip, too).  For sure I'll check out LCDH as we don't have one in Kansai, but at Japanese prices hard to see anything more than one or two sticks just to try.

I quite like the small bar on the ground floor of The Palace Hotel. Expensive but very good.

Le Connaisseur in Ginza is also very good. Enjoy. Love Tokyo!

I agree. Went here before sukiyabashi Jiro. Awesome environment and very private and sleek interior. I refrained from a cigar though because Jiro was up afterwards, a total bucket list restaurant.

Palace hotel bar is dandy, they moved to first floor in recent years, not the classic location it was.

Imperial bar at 2F of Imperial Hotel, you can smoke any time during opening hours, classic one.

Tokyu Capital hotel is close to their parliament (Akasaka) , there's a bar with great view.

most bars in central tokyo (都心) are mostly cigar friendly, and old style coffee shops.
