CaptainQuintero Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 With the fact that Arsenal now have an incredible front line of Aubamyang and Lacazette as the main strike force, but you know that they will inevitably end up being played as wingers :s
MU Mike Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 My brother is a huge Arsenal fan and after every transaction I send him a text saying "Wenger'ed". I think he's rightly sick of it by now.
MU Mike Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 By the way, Man City's funding seems to have no boundaries....
Fugu Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Finally... Oh, what a wretched and disgraceful show he put on on BVB. ... best of luck Arsenal!
Ken Gargett Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 appalling stuff. but it is the defence that is the dismal part of it. to see xhaka stand there and watch a bloke walk past him with the ball. should be sacked on the spot. some comfort to see chelski and manspew go down today. and rather puzzlingly we have finally re-signed ozil. why would he stay? lots of money sure, but run while you can.
CaptainQuintero Posted January 31, 2018 Author Posted January 31, 2018 He was supposedly off to man u a few days ago, the odds slashed. He was looking for a huge wage increase to stay, I'm guessing he's got it. Something is still just off at the club though, like you say, defence just looks like they either aren't being coached or they simply don't care. If there is any truth in the rumours about Ancelotti lined up to take over in the summer with Wenger moving to the board then we'll see who was to blame. I'm more inclined to think it's spoilt player power but who knows
Ken Gargett Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 i'd heard the manspew one, and spain and turkey and germany and pretty much everywhere. and just as many stories re wenger. i don't even read them now. so much crap that is completely made up. they need us to click on so i don't bother. gather he is getting a lot of dosh but well short of sanchez.
Vortigan Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Even a literal moron would have sacked this shambling wreck by now, long before now! I can't even begin to fathom what must be going inside that boardroom. This once great club reduced to the absolute laughing stock of European, if not world football! Something about watching Arsenal just now reminds me of the Ali vs Holmes fight of 1980...with apologies to the memory of Muhammad Ali, who truly was the the greatest of all time at his craft & who had the personality to match!
