Lot of drone shots showing up this time

yes, i noticed that as well.

still, people use all manner of tripods and lenses. for me, if it makes a great shot, i can live with it (not suggesting you were being critical).

Very Impressive. That first one of the Orangutan is almost haunting. Also that Man 0' War also something to behold. Great pics!! Love National Geographic!

i remember being on the coast one day and looking down and wondering why the fishermen were all using waders in mid summer. often don't use them mid winter. and this was the middle of the day. went down to have a look and there was a thick line of foam along the edge of high tide.

when i got there, it was a line of man o'war (we call them bluebottles - you very often see a couple on the beach and every aussie kid has been stung by a bluebottle), about a metre wide, four or five inches deep and went the entire length of the beach. would not have been fun to stand in that unprotected.

Ha ha :P No, wasn't deliberately being critical, but I did notice the judgmental part of my brain thinking, "Hey!  No fair!" with the drone shots :P  Not sure why, maybe I'm just old fashioned. :D  Beautiful stuff nonetheless.

Maybe next time they can use REAL film like a REAL picture instead of this digital nonsense! :P

i'm exactly the same. had to think about it as it did seem "cheating" but as soon as i did think, no issue for me.
