Monte petit Edmundo MEL ABR 17 : Thanksgiving Review

I have been dying to smoke the first one from the box that arrived from our host 2 weeks ago. These were the dark wrapped PSP lot that Rob put up not too long ago.

 

Aroma at cold is intense. Chocolate and nice sweet tobacco.

 

The construction was pretty good. I picked the underfilled one from the box to smoke ROTT. Burn was fine with a few minor touch ups. I chalk this down for its youth and a little wet. I did dry box the cigar for 8 hours or so.

 

Flavours were pure chocolate, with a touch of coffee and sweet tobacco.

The final third did get a little more intense with a few very mild harsh notes but nothing at all unpleasant.

 

This cigar will age phenomenally well.

Nice! I have a Clearance box coming (today, hopefully!). They won't be as nice and dark as yours, but hopefully they will be standard Petit Edmundo flavor-bombs.

I have a box sitting in my humidor that I have not touched yet.  I think one will be in store after the first of the year when they have had enough rest time.  Great review!

Oh I am sure they will be. I remember those came up the following Monday after the PSP batch. I'll tell you, I was tempted to grab one too.
Same as the M2 up today. They have that MEL code and the next month.
