Popular Post Dmpotocek
I’m spending this Thanksgiving on foreign soil in New Zealand. My wife and I have been enjoying all of the amazing seafood available on this side of the world instead of turkey today. I’ve had several varieties of Pacific Oysters, some of the best sashimi I can remember trying and a Blue Moki dish that was phenomenal as well. And then there was this guy After the feast my wife wanted to check out a botanical garden. I was a good sport and did the nickel tour before camping out by a cafe. For being relatively young this HUPC was very smooth. The graham cracker/shortbread flavor lasted through the majority of the stick. Altogether I got 65 min of smoking time out of it. I also made a few friends, as people were pretty intrigued about the cigar (a HUPC costs almost 40$ for a single here) and not too many people smoke them casually. Considering a box is +- $165 USD. Better to bring your own!

Dmpotocek
agreed, it's a wonder these governments don't manage to tax everything out of business and ultimately deprive itself of needed revenue. The guy running the shop I visited explained how the tax structure on cigars works and it seems like the government is trying to tax them out of business. Also it is illegal to have tobacco on display. So I couldn’t even go into the humidor. He gave me a price list, I told him what I wanted (08 SLE Serie A) and then he went back and got them. I for one can’t afford cigars these days with the taxes applied to them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fugu
Yup. It's not a tax it's a penalty. The subtle way making tobacco illegal, while avoiding openly saying that it's become illegal.
