Popular Post Joker Posted November 11, 2017 Popular Post Posted November 11, 2017 Trini nor VR form a main part of my cigar smoking regime, in fact only have Reyes and Famosos in stock. This review comp is a good time as any to revisit the VR Famosos. Today was a scorcher of a day, and thankfully the evening has cooled down nicely. So, time to make a Negroni (thanks Prez for the recommendation) and have a go at reviewing the VR Famosos. Pre-light draw - I get a subtle sweet hay flavour with slight resistance. Nice smooth Colorado wrapper. 1st third – off the bat I’m getting burnt sugar / raisin toast flavours, nice. Smooth, no harshness, the few years rest has done this stick well. 2nd third – Nutty flavours of almond / marzipan are now coming to the fore. Good volumes of smoke. Last 3rd – I close my eyes to focus on the flavours, and strangely enough I’m getting the flavour profile of blue cheese - which I don’t mind at all. Maybe I need another drink!! Overall, the medium bodied, 75 min smoke has been very pleasant indeed. Thanks for reading. 8

Joker Posted November 12, 2017 Author Posted November 12, 2017 Thanks for the responses gents Mus, the ashtray is a Bali classic, made from recycled trashed motorbikes ? Great for outside and comes in various sizes
