Yes I know lol. I had a chuckle as I recall all my American friends in school that called Canada, Canadia!

On a serious note, very sad news. Loved the Hip and will miss Gord and his performances. I recall going to a private concert at the ACC. They played straight for 2-3 hours. Pure awesomeness.

I grew up with the Hip.  Simply the best Canadian rock band of my generation - if not all time, imo (no disrespect to Rush).

Great performer, songwriter and activist who will sure be missed.

Sad day for sure, he will be missed. I work in Kingston, lots of talk of it today, a lot of radio stations only playing Hip today
