Love this, love Negronis. Make them regularly all the time and I'm always experimenting with different vermouths and gins. I find I've settled on Tanqueray/Campari as my staple base these days then I like to mix up the vermouth. love Cinzano and Martini. Dubbonnet makes a very different drink but still very good. One point I did disagree on is "you're not going to pound 3 Negronis". It's maybe not the best Idea but I am.

I favour equal parts Plymouth Gin, Formula Antica, Campari.

Recently, I've been trying out different gins. Tanqueray 10 and Silent Pool are pretty good. Sipsmith less so.

Thanks Ken, I love Negronis. At home I mix with Tangureray. I like Campari but we use Aperol. While traveling Italy and Spain this past June, it seems most places also use Aperol. I am so surprised and often disappointed that a lot of bars outside of Italy don't know what a Negroni is. Had some trouble finding them in Spain but could usually locate one after checking around but it's a more difficult task in Minnesota USA.

I do love a good Negroni Cocktail. Four Pillars Gin have brought a Spiced Negroni Gin which takes this cocktail to another level, in my opinion. Try it if you haven't done so!
